Studio Level Colorspace for User Interface

SlaveUnit Wrote:So with "VDPAU Studio Level Color Conversion" in linux does that effect videos and the interface/menu system of XBMC or just videos?

Is there any option to enable Studio Level Color space for user-interface as well?
Maybe a driver setting or an option in XBMC.

I realy need this option for viewing pictures on my Panasonic Plasma TV with XBMC in correct colorspace.
In Windows 7 I can set this in the Nvidia Driver, but I prefer Linux.

What does the "VDPAU Studio Level Color Conversion" option actually do/mean?

I have it enabled in the video settings, but I don't know what it does Smile

I use a 1080p Pioneer 60" plasma, should It be Off or On?

It changes the brightness/contrast of video playback to assume that your video card will output fullrange colors but your display will assume limited range color.

It does however not do the same adjustment on GUI.

Alot of tv's and projectors have a switch where you tell when they should assume the input to be.
Always read the XBMC online-manual, FAQ and search the forum before posting.

Thanks for reply!

Or is one not "better" than the other?
