I have a standard Microsoft media center remote, is there a quick and easy way to make the green media center button on the remote start up XBMC, rather then media center?

Thanks,
Marty.

1) broken link Wink

2) if you look at the link i posted previously you're able to change the key combination via the registry that the windows (big green) button sends

the line that starts with 0d is for the windows (big green) button. with that registry change it will act as control-shift-X. then just make sure your XBMC.lnk shortcut key is set to control-shift-X and it will start whenever you hit the big green button. the line starting 0c in that link is for the power button and has been changed to sent alt-F4 instead which you can use to power down xbmc.

It is a great little app - and as I said earlier, the only one I could get to work with any degree of reliability - glad it worked for you Big Grin
