[WINDOWS] No playback of any files from an UPNP-Server
#1
Hi,

I try to use XBMC as a UPNP AV Client for Windows. It's a pretty cool programm but unfortunately it's not working for me. I'm using a FRITZ!Box Fon WLAN 7570 VDSL with an external USB-HD as a UPnP-MediaServer. Using my XBox360 as a UPNP-Client is working as expected (I see all files and I can play them). When I use XBMC (9.11) as UPnP Client from my Notebook/PC (Windows XP SP3) I see all files, but I can't play them. I'm getting a message "Wiedergabe nicht möglich" ("Playback not possible"). That's the logfile:
15:12:18 T:4296 M:1342472192 NOTICE: DVDPlayer: Opening:
15:12:18 T:4296 M:1342468096 WARNING: CDVDMessageQueue(player):Tongueut MSGQ_NOT_INITIALIZED

15:12:18 T:2768 M:1342451712 ERROR: CDVDPlayer::OpenInputStream - error opening []

15:12:18 T:2768 M:1342451712 NOTICE: CDVDPlayer::OnExit() deleting input stream
15:12:18 T:4296 M:1342472192 ERROR: Playlist Player: skipping unplayable item: 11, path []
15:12:18 T:4296 M:1342468096 NOTICE: CDVDPlayer::CloseFile()
15:12:18 T:4296 M:1342468096 WARNING: CDVDMessageQueue(player):Tongueut MSGQ_NOT_INITIALIZED
15:12:18 T:4296 M:1342468096 NOTICE: DVDPlayer: waiting for threads to exit
15:12:18 T:4296 M:1342468096 NOTICE: DVDPlayer: finished waiting

I see in "ERROR: Playlist Player: skipping unplayable item: 11, path []", that the path is empty. Thus XBMC does not know where to find the file anyhow it's listed. Oo
I disabled my firewall to see if it might cause the trouble, but the problem remains.
I found other users having the same or simmilar problem but no resolution yet.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Thanks in advance.
Henry
