Hello everyone. I was wondering if anyone of you found a solution on the issue with the Greek subtitles.

I have tried everything, like, changing the .srt file to Unicode, Arial, uploaded on xbmc fonts the arialuni.ttf, selected Greek(windows) and so on.... but it always crashes and sends me to shell to login.

I am out of ideas. On my computer i have Greek Proofing tools installed btw.

Please anyone found a solution, do let me know.

xbmc.log file doesn't say much. It just refers me that i have selected a subtitle.

make a subtitle avail on trac and your odds of having working subs in next release would increase substantially.

No need, i just found the solution after some thinking

The way to do it, is to install Greek language in Windows (For XP in Regional Settings) and it will ask you for the CD of Windows XP. Installing will require to restart the computer. Do so......

Then, open your notepad save in UTF-8, and remore txt file, put .srt this will actually save in Greek-iso-8859-7 which is recognizable by xbmc.

If you have any trouble reply, i can post a step by step manual for you if you want.
