I think it would be pretty awesome to have a trailers button on the homepage that linked to apple movie trailers lite. has any one figured out how to do that yet?

well I gave it a shot but it seems to be way more mods than I need and pretty unstable. Is there anything that just adds the trailer button to the home page? I am pretty happy with my aeon mods at the moment.

I forgot I started a thread just like this a couple years ago. I gave up then because apple movie trailers was broken.

The home menu button are located in Includes_mediamenu.xml.....I am pretty sure that is what it is called.

You will see a list of buttons and just add one in for trailers and use the link above for what you should put in for the <onclick>.

What he said install CF2009 Home customization, its then just a simple case of adding an item to favourites once in favourites its pretty easy to add it as a main menu item or sub menu item

Yep, but instead of the link mentioned in that thread, try this one!

I was downloading from

http://github.com/cf2009/Aeon-Customisat...omMainMenu

Until I started exploring cf2009's github. I clicked Aeon-Customisation and it looked the same but then I pulled up the two pages the links pointed to side by side and realised it's actually this...

http://github.com/cf2009/Aeon-Customisation-Home-Menu

one which provides the functionality seen in these videos:

And yes, it works with the Hitcher mod skin Big Grin

See my other post here for detailed info on installing: http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid...09&page=24

I knew there was something missing...

P.S. It introduces submenus and a few other things.
P.P.S. Hitched Mod looks like it has a bug with this where - ONLY in the Settings -> Customise screen (so far) - the background cycles rapidly if a folder is chosen as the backdrop. Setting the backdrop for settings to a single file seems to workaround this issue.
