Corrupt video playback (works in Movie Player)
#1
Setup:
Ubuntu 10.04 LTS, 2.6.32-21-generic x86_64
Manually built SVN revision: 29939
CPU: Core2 Duo Mobile T9300 (2.5 GHz)
Video: ATI Mobility Radeon HD3650

Issue:
After downloading, compiling, and building r29939, I launched XBMC from the terminal by using:
Code:
./xbmc.bin

I navigated to a sample video file I downloaded from DivX Plus HD (1080p H.264 MKV Iron Man 2 trailer):
http://www.divx.com/en/electronics/solut...s-hd/video

The result is a corrupted video that only seems to show a solid color for each frame of video:

Pastebin of debug log:

As stated in the title, the video file works fine in Movie Player.

Set render method to basic shaders(arb).

Thumbs Up
That was it. I hadn't tried Basic before, but I did try Advanced a while ago with the same results.

Thanks!

After hours of settings changes and restarts last night, I am so glad I decided to check out the forums for an answer. Thanks.
