Hi there

i recently bought an appletv and i am now trying to figure out how to make the experience the best

I would like to have some sort system where i can start a download to the appletv remotely from my computer. That being if i for example where at my parrents and wanted to download something to the appletv using the internet available at the appletvs location. Is that possible?

if that is not possible what is the the most "normal" way of download content to the apple tv.. sambashare? nas?

An easy solution is a NAS which provides a smb share for XBMC. The NAS can manage all your downloads. And most NAS will allow remote management. Look for Synology or Qnap which can do all of this and much more.
