Hi all,

I've been away from the XBMC scene for a while now, only recently just got back into the swing of things. I'm trying to get my bearings on where the windows platform stands with PVR functionality within xbmc.

I see posts on here about PVR support using Media Portal plugins and so forth, but some of these posts were created about 2 years ago.. So i guess, in a nutshell...

What is the current state of PVR functionality within windows? if any.

and are there any links that somebody can send me to, in order to get my head around this.

Will there be an official release with full PVR functionality, or will we always rely on programs like Media Portal?

There is a branch with PVR functionality (users Myth/TVR/? BE) but it won't make the 10.05 release. It has been in use for a while so it may be all you need.

Not quite sure that answers my question...

Myth is for linux only, right? So what about windows? and where do i locate the trunk etc... is there any info out there on the state of the windows PVR functions etc

Yes, Myth is linux. I think all the backends are Linux.
