quick answer is no,

to get HD sound, at least bitstreamed you need
windows, xonar soundcard or ati 5xxx series or the new intel core series with gpu.

never dug into hd audio. but is this meant as:

windows and xonar soundcard
windows and ati 5xxx series
windows and new intel core series

in other words, no chance under linux in any hardware scenario?

Correct,

for bitstreaming there arent any options for linux.

i think you can decode dolby truehd in linux and pass it out as pcm
but there's no option for DTS MA.

there should be a sticky for this. it gets asked far too many times.

that's true.

above all. i read several tests before i bought my last avr regarding hd audio. many state, like areadvd for an example, that it's pretty hard to hear a difference between e.g. dts-hd and dts. one won't notice any difference on low- to mid-range systems. to get a hd audio experience one has to pay several thousands of dollars for his home cinema equipment, only for the audio part. it's more the speakers than the avr itself that make a noticeable difference.

Thanks for answers.

Why is it so that is only Ati and windows who support hd formats?

It would be strange if they let you use HD audio formats on a OS that has no bluray software.

but why doesn't n-vidia support hd.
Are some company against all blueray disc and what they can offer?

from what i know you can not get dts-ma to decode or bitstream on linux, dolby truehd i think you can decode it but not bitstream so no that wont help much.
