After much searching in this forum
I don't have much answer to get this 2 hd formats playing in xbmc live.
So i have to question do xbmc live 9.11 out of the box with nvidia drivers support dts hd master and dolbydigital master. so my reciver can play them?:confused2:
I know that i need a hdmi 1,3a to support dts hd master and dolby digital master
next question is. do Acer revo 1600 or 3600 have hdmi 1,3a??

quick answer is no,
to get HD sound, at least bitstreamed you need
windows, xonar soundcard or ati 5xxx series or the new intel core series with gpu.

Correct,
for bitstreaming there arent any options for linux.
i think you can decode dolby truehd in linux and pass it out as pcm
but there's no option for DTS MA.

but why doesn't n-vidia support hd.
Are some company against all blueray disc and what they can offer?

it will come in time, they are just a little behind ati and intel.
next generation display cards maybe.

from what i know you can not get dts-ma to decode or bitstream on linux, dolby truehd i think you can decode it but not bitstream so no that wont help much.
