ASUS P7H55D-M EVO Setup
#1
Hi. What Version of Abuntu xbmc will be the most suited to the following setup:

ASUS P7H55D-M EVO
Core i3 540
Corsair DDR3 1600 4GB

My goal is to run XBMC as a standalone system that will boot straight in to XBMC but are the items listed above supported hardware to run linux XBMC
Are these boards replacing the 9400/9300 offerings. Huh

i dont think you need an nvidia card and vdpau with this, i am running XBMC on an C2D Mobile 1.86GHz without any problems. My own little XBMC Distribution OpenELEC.tv consumes also around 100-200MB RAM, so i think 4GB are an complete overkill for an XBMC only setup (also with XBMC Live).
greetings, Stephan
