Can someone point me to a very recent OSX build. I have tried using the website which is shall we say a little 'busy'
When I select the OSX builds there is a tree of nightlies but nothing appears to actually download.

There's a reason why we aren't building nightlies. We asked very nicely a long time ago for that "busy" site to stop. It's only clogging our forums and creating confusion.
Short answer: If you can't build, you shouldn't be running the nightlies currently. Things are sufficiently broken. But don't fear, we're almost out of the woods!
