Lucid & libcdio
#1
Hi All,

I was tempted by the upgrade distribution button, going from 9.10 to 10.04. I've not been able to get xbmc to work since.

Compile works fine but on launch I'm getting can't find shared library libcdio.so.7. I understand Lucid has a later version of this library.

Do I need to downgrade?

This seems like a different problem to the one most people are having with libcdio.

Thanks in advance,
Neil

I understand you did not use the search function?
OpenElec Standalone --> Asus Chromebox 'Panther' --> Onkyo TX-NR709 --> Sony 55" X85C Android TV (also with Kodi!)
Asus Chromebox EZ Script

I always use the search before posting, which is why I have a post count of 30 odd after using the site for 6 years. I nearly always find what i need by searching. If you feel I'm missing something this time feel free to actually help.

Thanks Jerry. I don't get as far as xbmc launching - it just crashes on start-up.
