These machines are so popular, and with so many guides/methods on how to set it up.

I'd like to attempt a bit of consolidation. I would like to gather information on what setups people have had success with/what they found didnt work.

I propose the below layout (all coloured blue if you are happy with it, and red if not). Perhaps xorg.confs could be added

Nearly exactly same config, works like a charm. 23.98Hz/59.94Hz fix helps a lot !

I don't remember by heart my ALSA version, but for the rest I would say 100%.
