Hi, it seems i have the same problem as this guy http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid...scans+root (thats what im guessing) but i didnt figure out the solution from that thread, so i hope some one would help me.
When i press Update Library it seems to be scanning forever so i am not possible to exit (seems like i freezes up, probably still scanning).
Reading the other thread makes me think you guys need to see my sources.xml
and crash logs to help me out, so i posted them here:

I got more crashlogs, but they probably say the same all anyway?
Besides that my CPU load seems to be to high and do some flickering when picture changing fast, i do have VDPAU on always, but it seems to be halting on big movies like 1080p stuff.
I got a Asrock 330HT (2GB RAM/350HDD/1.6 GHZ/Ubuntu 10.04)
which should be able to play those files right?
