I have looked long and hard through these boards since last night and I have not seen any thread pertaining to this issue. I just got my Acer Revo 1600 yesterday. I installed XBMC Live via a USB stick onto the internal hard disk. Everything seems to be working perfect except I can not get XBMC to give me an IP address so that I can connect to it through an FTP client on my laptop.
I have reinstalled twice in hopes of maybe it being a bad installation, but that has changed nothing. Under Settings>Network>Network interface it is at eth0 and I can't change it to allow it to set up an IP address.
What am I doing wrong? Please help!
