So, my tv blew up, and i'm getting a new tube. Anything special i need to do to get ubuntu to figure this out?

I spent a pile of time getting x setup correctly for the old tv will ubuntu refind the new one ok? or do i need to rerun some x11 commands?

this is hdmi and an nvidia ion board.
