Hello everyone, i'm new to this forum

I've used XBMC for some years now, first on the xbox and then on a linux pc.

Yesterday i tried to change the skin from Confluence to some other, so i tried Alaska, then Rapier and finally Ellipsis, but all of them make XBMC crash and then restart before crashing again in an infinite loop.

I then checked the crashlog file and noticed a lot of errors like these:

It looks to me like you don't have any skin fonts available?

I've checked the fonts/ directory and everything is in place, do you mean i have to check elsewhere?
Also i tried to manually use fc-cache on the .ttf files but it didnt work (i know its useless but i was desperate at that point )
