xbmc on a Realtek RTD1262 chipset

I have used XBMC on a Windows computer and it works fine.

I have a Hardware Media player which is a box where you install a SATA HDD. The device itself if a Mediaplayer and is built on Debian. I can telnet to the device. The main application is DvdPlayer which controlls all the functions to play music, videos & photos.

Can I replace it with XBMC. What graphic cards does XBMC support.

some weeks ago I was just smiling at all these questions such as "can I install XBMC on my xtreamer" but with the recent progress of the ARM port, I just stumbled upon the HDX Bone media player: http://www.hdxbd1.com/where-to-buy/hdx-w...1&vmcchk=1

dual boots a proprietary player OS and android, and most important, is based on an integrated ARM chip that should be able to support OpenMAX. my only guess would be that this thing just has too little RAM to really use it for something.

would this be interesting as a developer platform?
OpenElec Standalone --> Asus Chromebox 'Panther' --> Onkyo TX-NR709 --> Sony 55" X85C Android TV (also with Kodi!)
Asus Chromebox EZ Script
Kodi on Sony Bravia Android TVs
