When I add the PPA's For XBMC, When I do a search for it in KPackageKit nothing comes up, or when I try to install it from the terminal, Is there something wrong with the XBMC PPA's ?

Sorry Hannes but its like the PPA's are broken, that guide doesn't work.

When I added the PPA's many times and also used a fresh install of Ubuntu but they still don't work

Yes. SVN-ppas for lucid AMD64 seem to be broken. If your system is working, don't do a dist-upgrade. It will install xbmc-bin and remove alle other xbmc packages. Seems the other xbmc packages with the version fitting the new xbmc-bin are missing.

So is there any other way to install XBMC or do I just have to wait untill the SVN-PPA Is fixed?

You can install XBMC from the stable PPA. Current stable revision: 26018

Question is: Would this break you existing library?

I don't think so, my library isn't broken.

the question is valid, AFAIR there's some library changes between stable versions and newer SVN versions

btw that's why I posted the guide to shiro, there's no mention in it of using the SVN which is definitely for advanced users only

Hannes I'm sorry but the problem with the normal PPA's(ppa:team-xbmc) is that it does't have the 64bit Packages thats why I ended up using the SVN PPA
