Just a quick question, is hardware acceleration for the Mac on all Nightlies as of now or only on specific build(s)?

Nightlies build from svn trunk, anything enabled in trunk is built. So the answer is yes, VDADecoder is enabled on Nightlies. You need an nvidia chipset equipped Mac running OSX 10.6.3.
