Its actually Front Projection, like the kind you shine on a wall. I edited the title but it still shows rear projection in the thread listings :\
Hello everyone. I have a now old viewsonic projector that I have used as my movie projector. With other devices it supports up to 1080i through component and 1600x1200 through vga. Its actually 640x480 native and I suppose ?downscales? to allow the larger resolutions.
In xbmc Live it only recognizes it as max 640x480. I have the output of the X 7 < log stuff here http://pastebin.com/4TbDZ4gp.
some of the gist:
(II) Jun 10 21:51:37 NVIDIA(0): HorizSync : 28.000-33.000 kHz
(II) Jun 10 21:51:37 NVIDIA(0): VertRefresh : 43.000-72.000 Hz
I think because the Horizontal sync is so low its reading every other resolution as invalid. Is there any way to force it to at least 800x600 or better?
