Finds Folder But Not Episodes Inside

Smile
Hello,
I'm having a some problems after I set all of my folders with TV shows in them.
The issues are
1. Not all of the folders are showing up in the list.
(I'm in library mode)
2. Some of the folders of shows that do show up are showing up as having now shows in them.

I've attached a photo of the issues.

Thanks for any help.

Probably because your episodes aren't named suitably. A debug log while updating your library will probably indicate this.
Always read the XBMC online-manual, FAQ and search the forum before posting.
Do not e-mail XBMC-Team members directly asking for support. Read/follow the forum rules.
For troubleshooting and bug reporting please make sure you read this first.

The apparent reason is that your files aren't named correctly

from the wiki:
Quote:The defaults will match the following structures/file name formats
foo.s01e01.*
foo.s01.e01.*
foo.s01_e01.*
foo_[s01]_[e01]_*
foo.1x01.*
foo.101.*

OK great that was quick and solved my issue.
I didn't realize that it was that picky.
I had
19.Kids.And.Counting.S04E03.HDTV.XviD-CRiMSON
and after changing it to
19.Kids.And.Counting.S04E03
it went right through.

Thanks for your help.

One thing that I'm curious about though is what if its a TV Movie where there's no episode numbers or season? Do I have to fake it and write S01E01?

it's most likely listed as a special on http://www.thetvdb.com. specials are identified using season 0. if they aren't associated with a series, http://www.themoviedb.org is the appropriate spot.
