Hey all,
I have a strange problem with my XBMC (R28042) on Ubuntu Minimal 10.04 (Lucid).
After I tried to install a svn-build, the function for reboot / shutdown doesn't work like I guess (that only xbmc quits and the tty-loginscreen is active). When I press the buttons for shutdown / reboot its quit XBMC and restart it immediately. The suspend-button has no function, but this doesn't interesst....
How can I fix my button-problem?
And is the XBMC-Version realy up-to-date? Or did I some misstakes on installing XBMC from svn?
here a summary of my installation-way:
install xbmc like it is describe in this HOW-TO for Ubuntu minimal
but change the repo to ppa:team-xbmc-svn/ppa
after this I tried to make an svn build:
get sources via svn, install some tools which are needed according to the booth readmes in the svn-folder
./bootstrap
./configure
make
make install
is this procedure right?
thx for some helpfull answers
bye...
