Currently running XBMC on Acer Revo 1600 connected to Optoma HD-20 projector over HDMI. I currently never turn my machine off and occasionally when I turn on my PJ all I get is a corrupted video screen with horizontal green bars. I have to reboot the Acer in order to remove the video corruption.
Does anyone know what could be causing this?
Thanks.

xbmc.log with debugging probably needed.
I'm guessing it's an EDID issue - running that HDMI connection through a switch?

Yeah, Acer goes through my Sony receiver then to the PJ. Acer is always on. Receiver is powered up to correct HDMI port, then PJ is powered on. PJ always takes 30 seconds or so before it scans the ports and switches to the main HDMI port.
Any part in particular from the log that would help?
Cheers.

Is there a fix for this type of issue or will I have to live with it?

You should post the entire log for someone to look at.
