I am looking at xbmc. I had been using boxee on my desktop and has worked well for that.
I got a zotac mag and trying to figure out what to install on it. I really dont wan to put windows on it with some media center software on it.
What I liked about boxee
How it put the movies as box art so it was easy for my kids to find them.
I didnt like
I couldnt get hulu to work correctly.
I didnt like how I couldnt figure out how to hide some of the movies.
I could not it to index or play movies that where just a dvd folder.
Could not get sound working correctly
Will xbmc do all of these things I am missing? Does anyone have a install how to for the zotac mag. I am planing on using the hdmi port for video and the optical port on the pc for sound.
