How to play a directory with MP3s
#1
maybe i'm stupid (hopefully not), but how can i start playing all files shown in a directory.

in xbmp you have the play button on the left side, but in xbmc its only possible to highlight a file and press play (on remote).
after playing this one file, playback stops.

i don't want to use playlists. i just want to playback all files shown on the screen.
and so far i don't use the build in audio files database.

cheers

i agree.

it's a simple feature that would make the player usable for me. at present, it just looks great but lacks that essential play directory feature from xbmp.

can't agree more, imho it's something that can't be missing from xbmp/xbmc!

yes.
that's one of my most wanted feature.
simply play a dir without making a playlist.

i was wondering whether or not this is a feature planned for the future.

since frodo answered several suggestions, like having the change of led color, i wondered whether this one would also be on the list.

cheers,
