Boots only when connected to ethernet
#1
Hey, I have an acer aspire revo with xbmc-live installed. When I have the Ethernet cable connected, it works perfectly. I am able to connect using sftp, upload videos, connect the box to my TV... everything. The only time I run into any problems is when I don't have an Ethernet cable plugged in. It takes me right to the command line and has me log in. I've tried a bunch of different commands/key-strokes such as: ctrl-shift-f7, xbmc, dpkg-reconfigure xbmc-live, etc.... the only way I can get it to boot into the xbmc gui is to plug in the Ethernet cable... any help?

Have you checked your logs?

Usually in /var/logs. May have something depending on an active interface thats breaking startup.
