I kind of guessed you would say that, but ember seems to have been abandoned and media companion seems to be going the same way. Do you recommend any others?

nope, i'm still using ember.
although it hasn't been updated in a while, it still does the job for me.

Fair enough then. XBMC's native scraper does a great job by itself, but unfortunately lacks some of the features of the others. Looks like I may have to use a combination of the three to do it. Thanks for your advice though! Very much appreciated.

I've just heard/seen Not Rated too often; in TV Guides, satellite listings, on Amazon, the movie trailer guy saying in his smooth voice "This film is not yet rated"...

Most of all NR (Not Rated) just FEELS more right to me :p
