What is currently the best way to watch TV on XBMC with something like WinTV-NOVA-T or any other DVB-T card on Linux?

And while we are at it, what is the recommended, i.e. supported without issues, DVB-T card?

Zapping through channels is mighty fast. Getting it up and running is also easy as the How To states
