Quieter audio with any media played in XBMC
#1
For some reason anything played in XBMC (especially movies) is much quieter than my headphones maximum.

If I play the same file on the same computer with VLC, it's able to go much louder. I've checked XBMC's internal volume slider and it's on maximum, so are Windows 7's mixer sliders.

Is there a way to amp the volume inside of XBMC?

(I'm using analogue output and have the 'down-mix to stereo' option selected, if that matters)

In system... audio output... did you select Boost volume level on downmix?

I don't see any option to Boost Volume Level.

I'm using 9.11 RC1 R25755. Do I need a nightly build?
