Hi there,
I built a HTPC using XBMC live (ubuntu), bought a PS3 remote, got it working, everything was brilliant.
I then made the mistake of telling a friend I would set his up if he bought one.
He bought all the same hardware as me (2 of everything actually).
I took an image of my HTPC, put it on his, his worked, PS3 remote and all.
I did the same thing again, on his other HTPC (identical systems, this one is for his friend), everything works EXCEPT the bluetooth controller. If I do a scan using ps3_pair.py it sees it, and will register it, but it still won't control XBMC.
I took my bluetooth usb adapter + my PS3 remote, plugged it in, and it worked immediately.
This leads me to believe it's not the PC or software itself, there is some problem pairing the USB BT dongle and remote.. but I don't know what to look for or where to start.
I'm lost here, if anyone could make any suggestions that would be awesome.
Sorry if I've left out any information.
