Seconded. Using the 0.7.1 Remote release in conjunction with recent SVN builds of XBMC has been truly amazing. Everything just works!

hmm.. strange. I cant get it to work with the recent SVN build, so I thought the HTTP API was gone and replaced.

working like a damned charm here. latest svn and 0.7.1 vers of the remote. now, if there only was some way of starting the xbmc then linking to it....
