In the next few days you'll be able to get youtube from the addon manager.

Which version of XBMC? If you use a recent nightly build then see jmarshall's reply. If you use the release v9.11 you just need to unzip and copy the YouTube folder into the Scripts folder.

It's just been added to the addon manager for those that use nice new builds.
