I'm running Ubuntu 10.04 with the latest SVN from the XBMC PPA.

All my passthrough audio works fine but other audio doesn't work at all (no navigation sounds, no non-DTS/AC3 files)

Any ideas?

i'm getting the same problem. no one else is getting this either?

crisis averted. updated to latest svn and that fixed it. whew!
