I have created a patch to add the option to use live video as the background. It's 730 lines so I'm not sure a paste here would be good. If you have a way for me to get it to you you could knock that off your list.

Makes sense to me. I too was annoyed by the player loading up frames when there was no video window. It was a lot easier to add video to the skin than it was to tell the player it should be dropping frames. :-)

Dear Ronie,
I find studio flags a bit big in Cirrus, otherwise skins like Aeon , Rapier and other prominent skins have flags adequately sized... But i think since Transparency is a fanart based skin, you have made the flags a litttle bit small compare to those I have mentioned

there's not much space left to make bigger in fanart view.
other views shouldn't be much of a problem.
