hi everyone,

loooong time ago i began with my first media center software "mediaportal". one of the plugins i used was "onlinevideos", which supported a few online video sites.
"onlinevideos" really grew and it now supports a lot of sites, including many german ondemand videos from tv stations like pro7, vox now, rtl now, sat1, ard, zdf, 3sat, orf,... even southpark.de and so on (here's the overview of supported sites: http://87.106.7.69/OnlineVideosWebServic...rview.aspx)

i really miss plugins for german tv stations at xbmc. i don't know whether it's not possible or just not programmed yet.
i tried python and at least i could get the orf tvthek to work partly, but it's coded crappy and the other sites are much more complicated.

maybe someone with very good python skills can do this (easily)?! or maybe someone has already done it and not published yet?!

i currently work on a plugin for "ZDF Mediathek" and "SouthParkDE".
the basic functions already works...

rtl now, vox now, sat1, and so on seem to be rather similar.
if one plugin works, we could change them easily for the other tv station sites - i guess.

this one maybe works, but i am not sure if xbmc supports librtmp by default?

RTL Now can be found in the Development forum. Just search for my user. I also have working plugins for ARD and Vox. ZDF is also available just search on the forums.

i am running a nightly build with the new addon system and i don't know how to get the rtl plugin installed without being in the addon repo.

did you publish your working ARD plugin somewhere? I couldn't find it...
I would be very glad if you could share it with us!

Plugins needs a addon.xml and a new import python-modul
If the plugin use settings the settings have to be ported.
I gues in a very short time nobody wonna talk about plugins or scripts.
because they are obsolet ....
