XBMC Rookie looking for some help
#1
So, I am likely just an idiot, but I cannot find the ~/.xbmc/plugins/programs directory to save my life.

I am running Ubuntu 10.04 and XBMC 9.11 (both fresh installs within the last 10 hours) and everything works beautifully, except that I cannot find the directory.

I've dug around just about everywhere, and it's nowhere to be seen, I have checked after running XBMC and while running it, I have restarted and done just about every other thing I know how to do...so some help would be awesome.

~ is your home directory. So, if your username is berko, then it is in /home/berko/.xbmc/plugins/programs.

And depending on how you're looking for it (from a graphical file manager vs term window) you might need to turn on any option like "show hidden files" since there's a dot (.) at the start of the directory name.

..and folders and files with a dot in front of it wont show unless you specify "show hidden files"..
