I've been using XBMC as a media PC frontend for some time now but I'm a little new when it comes to the recording side of things.
I'm looking to bolt on 4 DVB-S2 USB tuners with yaVDR to my setup. What sort of cost does that have on performance? I have a VDPAU compatible graphics card which handles 1080p perfectly at the moment.
My setup is as follows:
P4 3.4ghz HT (Presscott)
NVIDIA 8400 GS
2GB RAM
