Missing EventServer

I have looked for the Event server under the Network and System settings and it is not showing in either. I am using PRE-10.5 r31718. I am trying to use the xbmc remote app for android but it will not work unless I can enable the event server.

It looks like the remote program works fine if I enable "Allow programs on another system to control XBMC" Guess my issue is "self resolved"

Yeah, thats the eventserver and jsonrpc controller, essentially anything a remote would use (except http). Was renamed to be abit more self-explanatory than "Enable EventServer" Smile

Thanks for the clarification. I noticed it uses the default port 9777. Any way to change that?
