My Network Attached Storage(NAS) shuts itself down and goes into low power mode after 10 minutes. I have my NAS set up as a network share, mounted to the hard disk in /home/mythtv/NAS. Under normal operation, the NAS works great. The problem is when the hard disk spins down. It takes about 10 seconds to spin up and it seems that XBMC "gives up" after a certain amount of time.
This log was 9.8 megs. I choppped out the 6 days which are irrelevant in the log. http://pastebin.com/gkpbx6Rb
This problem does not occur when I wake up the NAS from another computer before hand. I run Ubuntu on my Desktop. When the problem occurs, I can SSH in to the XBMC computer and access the drive just fine. So it is accessable and it happens only when my NAS is in sleep mode, and for some reason XBMC just stops trying and locks up completely during the 10 second spin-up time.
