Auto goes to Bob I think and that's CPU intensive, it's doubling the framerate which is why you see fps at 48. Try setting it to 'de-interlace', that's a pretty simple deinterlacer.

I see...

When I switched from Auto to De-interlace, it did go from 48 fps on the codec overlay to 24 fps. De-interlace seemed to work fine indeed Smile.
