I've got an odd issue that may be obvious to someone here.
In short, when I launch an application that has a "fullscreen" mode (like FCEUltra) from an Xsession that was started using XBMC then the video fails to initialize.
However, if I launch into the gnome desktop, start XBMC, and then run it (again, in my case it's FCEUltra) it runs (well - I get the video initialized anyway).
Is there something that needs to be initialized from with XBMC that isn't, but that gets initialized if I run the gnome window manager?n
I'm on svn 31214 from the Dharma branch running on Ubuntu 10.04.
Thanks for any help
Jim
