Hi, I'm using XBMC standalone within Ubuntu 10.04 (from stable PPA).

I activated the "also show movies" in the Picture mode. It works fine (I can see videos listed beside photos), but I can't get any thumbnail but the standard "video" icon. In the Movies mode, those files do get a thumbnail, but this doesn't happend in the Pictures mode.

Is there any way to make XBMC show the movie thumbnails (just a frame extracted from the video) in the picture mode?

Not my call, but that would be extremely unlikely. Better learn to build XBMC yourself .
