Smallest PC that can run XBMC?
#46
So far, since I'm using an iPod Touch the best solution is this:

1. Windows 7 64bit (i couldn't get XBMC Live to boot up - kept asking for username and pasword- annoying)

2. Connectify (creates an access point - also usefull for outdoor use or no internet/router/LAN connection)

3. iTunes running on the Foxconn PC (autostart when Win7 boots up)

4. Apple Remote app for iPod (free)

So far this combo works great. The XBMC Remote would hand (I don't think it likes the "weak" hotspot that Connectify creates. Apple Remote app doesn't have this problem.

Bummer - I really wanted to use XBMC Live. Oh well.
Thanks for all your help so far, guys. I'll post up some pics in a few days of my build.

I'll need to do more investigation on its heat output. Anyone know?
Yeah. At least 10°F less after performing this mod!

So after a much long break from this awesome forum, here is my final solution.
And unfortunately it does not include using XBMC Sad

2 ipod touches - each with a remote app connected via Bluetooth.

It works great. I am in the process of researching the entre system I have designed for a patent. If all goes well (errr or bad), I'll post some photos.

Thanks for all your input.
