ok so past like 5 days I have been having problems with my remote, it stayed RED as is getting a signal. I cover the sensor with my hands and it stops, any ideas here ?

I have not hid it hebind my tv and it works with no glitches (so far) but better yet when I boot this system install on my Desktop pc the light has no problems whatsoever!

Got a plasma tv by any chance?
Check what happens when you turn the tv off.

Try placing the sensor behind the tv so it doesn't look directly at the screen.
