[RELEASE] TV Show Next Aired (Script) Addon
hi, don't know if it has been requested before, but is there a possibility to have this add-on work on the home?
I use it with dharma and have a widget on the home that tell me what are the upcoming séries.
now with eden that widget if empty !!

also, all my upcoming séries dates are incorrect, for example an epidose airing on monday is showed by next aired on tuesday

thanks and sorry if it has been said already

the skin you're using doesn't start the next.aired script at startup,
hence it won't refresh the info every 24h (at midnight).

aha ok that explains it why it doesn't work. I'm using Aeon MQ3, do you have idea where i can enable it in the xml files or does that contain more coding work?

you can ask for help on this in the Aeon thread.

the skin you're using needs to be updated in order to work with the current version of the next aired script.
there's some info in the README file and a discussion thread over here:

the script localizes the airtime, so it's it's aired on monday at 8pm in the US,
that could mean it's tuesday at 4am local time.

if you believe the script handles this incorrectly, please provide an example and let me know what timezone you live in.

thank u for answering me ronie,
for the home widget I'll see with the skin developper

I live in france GMT+1 paris...
for example house MD , the tv guide tell me it's aired tuesday 2AM, while in an other computer xbmc with dharma tell me it's airing monday around 8pm
regards

House is aired in the US at 8pm -0400 UTC
france is +0100 UTC

since it's a 5 hour time difference, next aired should tell you
House is being aired on tuesdays at 1am

it shows the time/date correctly at my end,
so i'm gonna need a Debug Log for starters.

on dharma we didn't do the time/date conversion.
it'll just show the original US airdate.

yup, json-rpc is not entirely working as expected at the moment.
i think 6 or 7 scripts are currently broken due to this.

I have 2 TVshows that air on Tuesdays NCIS and NCIS Los Angeles but they are not showing up the the TVguide.

Looking in the log, both series appear and both have dates

Here is the debug LOG

Currently selected show does not have artwork yet, not a NextAired bug.

Because they are not on next week.
A quick question (that's been asked before)... I live in the Pacific Time Zone (-8 GMT). All of my shows shows times 3 hours early. Any way to change this please? My computer time and XBMC time is correct.
Thanks for a great addon!

if you can get me a debug log i'll look into it.

- enable debug loggin in xbmc
- check 'rescan tv guide data' in tv show next aired addon settings
- wait for the scan to finish
- post debug log on xbmclogs.com

Seriously...when did this Addon become NexWeekAired, if you look at the very first screen in this post the first show is Oct./10/2011 and the last is Jan. 08/2012, that's hardly the same week!

Sorry, ronie, short fuse today, I don't get it, either he is wrong or the picture in the initial post is wrong and misleading.

Can you clear it up for me please?
