Yeah, you're not running a scan when setting the content.
Select movie folder > context menu > set content > Movies > Run automated scan

I tried it again, and same thing, it does the scan, but it only takes like 1-2 seconds, and then its done... i try library mode and its greyed out, but if i do the movie information refresh for a movie, then library mode shows and only the movie(s) i do a refresh on work!!!!!!!!!! blah!!!!!!!!!!

WTF I DIDNT CHANGE ANYTHING!!!!!!!!!!
I enabled debug mode, and tried to re-create the problem and its F**KING working now! (on my Win7 machine, i screwed up my revo so i gotta reset it...)
EDIT: maybe its working cause my revo isnt working...!!
