But scripting is the same as you would do on the command line :-)
Lern howto execute commands from the command line and you can script them ...
BTW Are you using linux as your nickname suggest ... ?

You might never do complex scripting, but we are not referring to complex scripting. Tossing money at it will likely only result in you not knowing how to use the functional script someone provides for you.
