CrystalHD and Reframes
#1
Hi

Just wanted to ask about what the crystal handles and what not regarding reframes Smile

Few months ago I downloaded a movie that had over 10 reframes and then I saw in the forumes that the CrystaldHD didn't handle over 10 reframes. But now I accidentally downloaded a movie that has 12 reframes and it plays perfectly...

So i'm curious... How many reframes does the CrystalHD card handle?

The reference frame limits depends on size, profile, level and encoded bitrate. CrystalHD (bcm70012) can handle 10 max for 1080p sized videos. Bcm70015 has slightly different limits.
